Why we built this

tracer.nuclear brings together everything behind a radiopharmaceutical: cyclotrons, synthesis modules, precursors and consumables, and the quality control equipment that lets you release the product.

We believe the end product is not a module or a precursor. It is a finished tracer that leads to the right diagnosis or the right therapy.

The same holds for theranostics. Imaging with the gallium form of a ligand and treating with the lutetium form is one programme, not two. Where a pair exists, this index links both sides.

And we want radiochemists and physicians to understand each other. One side solves for yield, purity and release; the other for image quality, timing and what the scan answers. Both sets of facts belong in one place.

What is in here

Every radiopharmaceutical we could find a published synthesis for, with the module, cassette, purification, yield, precursor and supplier behind it. Each value traceable to the sentence it came from. Alongside it: quality control requirements, regulatory status checked against the registers, theranostic pairs linked to each other, and platforms ranked by what has actually been published on them.

Coverage is uneven and we say so. A well-studied tracer has dozens of reports, a research compound often one, and an empty field means the literature did not say.
